At Logicalis we strive to improve our environmental performance and contribute to a cleaner, healthier planet. We are working hard to make proactive changes that benefit not just us and those in our orbit, but the planet as a whole. As part of our commitment to sustainability and transparency, we have released our Environmental Statement, which discloses our carbon emission baseline figures and lays out a roadmap for achieving our ambitious carbon reduction goals to become carbon neutral on scope one and two emissions by 2025 and reach net zero by 2050.

The Environmental Statement outlines Logicalis’ baseline emissions across scope one, two, and three emissions and follows the series of steps we have taken towards sustainability, including committing to the Science Based Targets initiatives (SBTi) Corporate Net Zero Standard. As examples, we have implemented a global e-waste disposal policy, moved five global operations over to renewable energy in FY23, and begun transitioning mobile fleets to electric or biodiesel fuel.

As part of our plan to reduce scope three emissions, we have recently partnered with global travel platform RouteZero to implement a sustainable travel policy and decarbonise all corporate travel.

In addition to committing to the SBTi Corporate Net Zero Standard, our progress is independently measured against the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) reporting framework for greenhouse gas emissions, and we are partnered with EcoVadis to address and publicly report on performance in the areas of environment, sustainable procurement, labour and ethics, and human rights.

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we are actively helping customers reduce their emissions. Last month we unveiled our Digital Fabric Platform, a service that scores sustainability performance across customers’ IT ecosystems and provides recommendations on how they can improve.

Head of Responsible Business, Charissa Jaganath commented, “Reversing climate change requires urgent transparent action, rooted in science. As a business, we have invested a lot of time in establishing our emissions baselines and building internal structures for continuous data improvement and reporting in order to ensure that our carbon reduction targets are both achievable and meaningful.”
