Challenge

One of the largest textbook publishers in Brazil had a wide range of data storage systems, creating sharing issues across the business with data distributed across several areas of the company. With no single way to collect and store data, there was very limited visibility and as a result the business solely relied on data reports which were often outdated or incorrect. A need to modernise and digitally transform led the publisher to seek a cloud solution.

Solution

Working with the publisher, Logicalis designed a Modern Data Warehouse solution for data storage which integrated analysis services tools, to access and visualise information. Developed and implemented with resources from the Microsoft Azure cloud, the entire structure is cloud-based making data easily accessible for everyone across the business. Senior executive dashboards were built to ensure permissions and security levels remained in tact.
