The role
This role has two key disciplines that are fundamental to elevating the impact of the Group People function, bringing through, strong, professional thought leadership and expertise to the function. Firstly, and primarily, the role offers enormous scope to enhance the Company’s HR system, Workday, managing the resources and key stakeholders to deliver against the agreed roadmap and further developing the value add for the business. 
Secondly, this role will take ownership for leading all aspects of Reward, Benefits and Policy for the Logicalis Group, while aligning with the regions. This includes running the operational processes, with the support of an HR Generalist, as well as owning the design and delivery of Group-wide projects and inputting into the strategic direction, with focus on diversity and inclusiveness to ensure accessibility and equality of approach to all employees.

You will have the following qualifications, knowledge and experience. 

  • Fellow or chartered member of see CIPD membership.
  • Experience of working at a senior HR level in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrable experience of managing projects and delivering successful outcomes.
  • Demonstrable success of building good relationships and partnerships with global key stakeholders 
  • Deep knowledge and expertise in HR systems, reward, and benefits
  • Experience of operating with a degree of autonomy.
  • Experience of leading systems implementations and upgrades, ideally within a global organisation
  • Demonstrable experience of thought leadership and the development of innovative approaches to complex problems

Core Accountabilities
Workday: 

  • A leading role responsible for shaping the deployment of Workday functionalities across the globe
  • Working closely with the CPO and International HR team build the roadmap of deployment with deadlines and measures of success determined.
  • Offer support to the regional teams to further enhance the company's use of Workday, 
  • Work towards centralising Workday to allow for better visibility across the globe and consistency in management.
  • Manage the Workday team resources; oversee prioritisation of support, enhancement requests, effectively manage stakeholders and own the delivery of projects.
  • Strategically support on resource planning, budgets, and future direction of the HR systems landscape, moving to a fully embedded and integrated solution
  • Challenge and excite the business on how Workday can help solve business challenges.
  • Ensure investment is maximised, identify opportunities for optimisation and ensure global adoption.
  • Work collaboratively with the International HR team to ensure successful delivery of the HR systems strategy.
  • Working with the International HR teams, lead data quality initiatives to ensure people data is complete, accurate and up to date.
  • Promote a wider understanding of the value of data in providing business insights.
  • Develop the provision of valuable people data which supports decision making for the country/region HRDs and CEOs.
  • Ensure that system changes are communicated effectively to all relevant stakeholders and that appropriate training is developed and rolled-out.
  • Build an effective partnership with Workday themselves, fully utilising Business Success teams and Account Managers 
  • Attend external Workday events representing Logicalis and our Workday story and share learnings with the wider team.

Reward

  • Own the development and delivery of reward and benefits approach for the Logicalis Group to ensure there is a transparent reward strategy.
  • Provide advice on key decisions to ensure approach is aligned to strategic and operational need.
  • Own the design and delivery of annual pay setting and annual pay/bonus processes, working closely with finance. 
  • Complete remuneration reporting as part of the Datatec governance and compliance.
  • Oversee the management of the various LTIP schemes across Logicalis and Datatec.
  • Key contributor to the implementation and continual evolution of the Logicalis Career Pathways Framework, in particular enhancing the reward element for the Group.
  • Manage the Company’s relationship with Willis Towers Watson and be the in-house expert for the tool and methodology, partnering with International HR teams as required. 
  • Develop a collaborative network between HR Reward experts that sit within the International HR teams.
