Lifecycle Design
Logicalis' Pre-Sales Consultants will work with you, taking a detailed design specification and constructing iterative versions of a design for evaluation. The Pre-Sales Consultants, at this stage, may need to obtain information from a number of different sources and will consult with relevant manufacturers technical staff where appropriate to help assist with the selection of a suitable solution.
Building on the design specification, the Pre-Sales Consultants will take into consideration:
- Requirements analysis
- Manageability
- Ease of implementation
- Scalability
- Maturity of technology
- Functionality
- Local skill
- Cost constraints
- Project timescales and deliverables
- Procedures, standards and mechanisms
- Service/system specific information
- Existing documentation
- Preferred manufacturers
The output of this is a detailed design document that will go on to form the basis of an “as installed” documentation pack.
