Customer
Santander Rio is the leading private bank in
the Argentinian financial system in terms of saving and credit
volume, with more than 304 branches in 20 provinces and more than
2.5 million customers.
In addition, Santander Rio is one of the leading banks in terms
of method of payment, foreign trade, transactional services and
cash management.
Challenge
As part of its Technology Upgrade Comprehensive Plan, Santander
Rio decided to incorporate new solutions to improve the quantity
and quality of national and international corporate
communications.
Solution
Logicalis installed 3 videoconference facilities in Santander’s
headquarters and in another 11 branches in Buenos Aires, and in
regional branches in the rest of the country. The centralised
videoconference platform in Buenos Aires provides services to the
whole country, and in addition, through the IP network, the
terminals can now communicate with Santander’s worldwide
videoconference network. In order to achieve the maximum technical
functionality , more solutions were integrated with the existing IP
telephony platform from the same partner.
Following the lead of other international branches, Santander
incorporated a Telepresence room, creating remote communications
that allowed the development of a more natural meeting
environment.
Benefits
The adoption of these solutions has brought
multiple benefits to Santander Rio. On the one hand, these
technologies enable travelling cuts, achieving a significant
decrease in expenses and an increase in productivity. Regarding
capability and training, these new solutions from Logicalis have
brought to Santander Rio an improvement in accessibility to a
higher number of the company’s employees. In addition to the
benefits just mentioned, both tools have given multiple benefits in
terms of recruiting staff, removing the limitations of geographical
location.
Testimonial
"Videoconferences are already changing the way we interact with the regions. Since the very first day we started using the equipment, having daily virtual meetings makes our everyday contact easier"
